Project Description / Specific objectives:

The Cl.AI.mate project is designed to empower educators and communities with the knowledge and tools needed to understand and respond to climate change through the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI). The project’s objectives align with the EU’s priorities on digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and inclusive education.

    1. Enhance digital competence
      Equip educators, especially in rural or underserved areas, with the digital skills needed to use AI tools for environmental education.
    2. Promote climate literacy
      Foster a deeper understanding of climate mechanisms, mitigation, and adaptation strategies through AI-supported learning.
    3. Support local action
      Enable participants to analyse local environmental data and implement small-scale, AI-informed sustainability projects.
    4. Encourage inclusive education
      Develop tailored training for educators of students with special needs, ensuring accessibility and engagement for all learners.
    5. Facilitate cross-regional dialogue
      Promote collaboration between urban and rural communities across Europe to share insights and co-create climate solutions.
